Now in my early 50's which is just shocking to type, I felt compelled to do something about the additional 25 pounds I have been carrying around over the past couple of years. I was mortified when I stepped on a scale that also included a body composition analysis of fat, ideal weight, proteins, minerals etc. I was not on target for any of these categories and I am someone who has been in good shape most of my life. Kym suggested the reset and that it works incredibly well, especially for men in terms of weight loss. I was certainly willing to try but I had never done anything like this before. I was shocked how quickly that weight came off, who would have thought that a few adjustments and only eating quality food would have that much of an impact? The intermittent fasting was a major factor but also being aware, very aware of what one puts into their body is something that I had not paid that much attention to. I generally eat healthy but this was a new experience. The way we cook our food, the oils we use, the amount we eat, what types of vegetables we eat, all of those details make a huge difference. Once you know about them, that information stays with you and will have an impact on the way you continue to eat in the future. Kym is very accommodating to our self-perceived limitations, our desires to cave in at times and is an amazing coach throughout the process. I recommend this program to anyone who has the desire to create a better life through nutrition and mindfulness. After all you are basically taking on eating really well and a bit less than normal and it is worth it in every way. The recipes are delicious as well and once you do the program it is easy to keep most of the weight off because you know what to do if the pounds start to come back on for any reason.
